I'm a certified Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) and the owner of LT Speech and Language Therapy, LLC.
I graduated with a B.A. in Communication Disorders from the University of Connecticut in 2006, and an M.S. in Communication Disorders from Southern CT State University in 2008. I maintain yearly certification through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) as well as the State of CT Department of Public Health.
In 2013 and 2018, I was awarded the ACE (Award for Continuing Education) from ASHA for completing at least 70 hours of continuing education within a three year period.
I specialize in pediatric communication disorders. I have always loved working with children and their families, supporting them in their feeding and communication challenges. If you are concerned about the development of your child's communication, please feel free to contact me with a brief description of your concerns, the best way to contact you, and I will do so as soon as possible. You can also take advantage of a complimentary phone consultation -- click here for more information. You can access helpful articles regarding typical communication development here.
I am a PROMPT trained therapist. PROMPT theory, technique, and overall approach greatly informs my work with children and their families.
I currently provide on-site services to clients and families in the New Haven County. Please do contact me if you live outside this area, as other service options may be available. I look forward to talking with you!
